Exciting times for Lisa of Planet Weidknecht and Staci of 7 on a Shoestring this week! They were 2 of the Top 5 finalists in the Dodge Redline Blogger Contest. They head to New York City next Tuesday, 3/26, (expenses paid) to go to the 2013 New York International Auto Show where they will then make their video entry for the next stage of the contest. One of the five will then be chosen for a 6-month blogging contract with REDLINE Dodge, a laptop, $10,000, and all-expense paid trips to future Dodge-sponsored events. Super fun news from Heather at Our Kids Mom this week! She and her six year old daughter were invited to Destin, Florida to check out Hilton’s Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa for 3 days/2 nights! They will be headed there April 7-9 for some relaxing one on one bonding time. To make this even more fun, her sister ( Amanda from Mommy of Two Little Monkeys) was also invited and she’s bringing her 5 year old son! Doesn’t that sound like a blast? Rita from Mom With a Dot Com has some amazing news to share this week! As of March 1st, she is now a Rayovac Power Blogger. She also started the #Shaklee180 Blogger Program. How cool! Julie from Sober Julie has been contacted by the Halal Food Festival and asked to present Mocktail demonstrations at their upcoming event in Toronto (8,000 – 10,000 attendees). It stemmed from the organizers hearing her speak at a blog conference, her Mocktail recipes and her Mocktails & More book which was released at Christmas/2012. She is even planning on releasing a summer edition of Mocktails & More in May and is launching a new site, MocktailMommy.com within a few weeks. Isn’t that amazing!
